Dr Suzanne Kiwanuka is a Senior lecturer at Makerere University School of Public Health (Kampala, Uganda) with special interest and vast experience in health systems strengthening and knowledge translation through strengthening of implementation research and production of systematic reviews and policy briefs.
For the past six years has worked together with the Cochrane Centre (Effective Practices and Organization of Care Group, Oslo, Norway) and the Evidence for Policy and Practice Information and Coordinating Centre (EPPI-Centre, a part of the Social Science Research Unit at the Institute of Education, London) involved in synthesizing policy relevant evidence for strengthening human resources for health particularly in Low and Middle Income Countries with a focus on identifying evidence around how to effectively improve the supply of health workers, manage the practice of multiple job holding and absenteeism among health workers.
She has worked with the Cochrane Effective Practices and Organization of Care Group to produce and peer r
