Edward is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Economics, University of Ghana. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Philosophy degrees all in Economics from the University of Ghana.
Edward also holds a PhD with Specialization in Development and Health Economics from the University of Bonn, Germany.
His research interests include the economics of maternal and child healthcare utilization, health seeking behaviour, applied micro-econometrics, social protection, public expenditure and taxation analyses.
Dr. Nketiah-Amponsah currently teaches public sector economics and health economics at the undergraduate and graduate levels respectively.
