Genevieve Aryeetey is a lecturer at the School of Public Health, University of Ghana. She is a Health Economist with special focus on health insurance, health policy and poverty.
She graduated from Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Center, the Netherlands with a PhD in Medical Sciences with thesis titled: Targeting the poor for premium exemptions in Ghana’s National Health Insurance Scheme and benefits of enrolment.
Dr. Aryeetey has various publications in health insurance specifically on targeting the poor, equity and perceptions of households on the NHIS. She is the Post Doc on the Accelerate Project in Ghana.
